A Little Information about the Book

It is my pleasure to present this WWW version of the book written by my aunt, Mary Evelyn Rogers to any and all people that are interested in Cherokee Indian history and culture. This is not a complete work but I believe you will find it informative and hopefully interesting. I have been given permission to add to this work by the original author, my aunt, provided any new information submitted to me is properly referenced and authenticated. Just mail the contact for these pages and it will come to my attention. I will try to be prompt with any queries or comments regarding this page and other pages associated with this site.

How to Navigate This Site

At the bottom of each page you will see four buttons which will allow you to go forward and backward in this virtual book as well as send me feed back on this site and jump back to this page. I wanted this site to remain simple to be free of the bells and whistles that confuse and frustrate people and their browsers.

Join Our Cyber-Tribe Mailing List!

I have also created a mailing list for any and all online Cherokee tribe members and interested parties! If you would like to join our cyber-tribe you may do so by sending a mail to majordomo@innernet.org and in the BODY of the mail (not the SUBJECT), just type the words (without the ""), "subscribe cherokees-online". That is all you need to do!
